Meet the Owner- Elizabeth “Liz” Fennell
With deep roots in Maryland’s maritime heritage, Liz brings a lifelong connection to the Chesapeake Bay and a multigenerational legacy in the marine industry. Raised in a family steeped in the traditions of towing, salvaging, and boatyard operations, she developed an early appreciation for the hard work and resilience that define life on the water. As a part owner of Middle River Landing Marina in Essex, MD, she has long played a behind-the-scenes role in supporting the marine community. For years, she also worked alongside her husband in his own marine ventures, gaining hands-on experience and a comprehensive understanding of the industry’s day-to-day demands.
While dedicating the past decade to serving Baltimore as a full-time bedside registered nurse, Liz never lost her passion for the water. In 2025, driven by a desire to return to her maritime roots and create something of her own, she launched a new venture focused on charter coordination—connecting people and essential supplies across the Chesapeake waterways. Her unique blend of medical experience, logistical insight, and maritime knowledge positions her business to deliver both safety and service with unmatched reliability.
